Q: Are the mazes in the sample book really made by the app?
Yes. The sample book and the Maze of the Day come from the same Rust engine as the desktop app, with fixed seeds so the pages stay the same between visits.
Q: Does every maze have a solution?
Every maze has one continuous path from the entrance to the exit, and every cell can be reached. The engine's test suite checks this for every shape, algorithm, and silhouette size before each release.
Q: How does the difficulty rating work?
The score counts the junctions along the solution, the dead ends, and how much of the maze the solution skips. Under 20 is Easy, under 40 Medium, under 65 Hard, and 65 or more Expert.
Q: Does the book PDF handle KDP margins?
Yes. Pages mirror like a printed book, so the inside edge is on the left of odd pages and the right of even pages, and it widens for the binding as the page count grows.
